The VIA DIGITAL project proposes the creation of a virtual reference center that allows access to, and the shared development of free software for municipal administration, offering the construction of a public archive of free software solutions that focus on the reality of small municipalities. In addition, with the goal of computerizing municipal agencies in a sustainable manner and promoting local development, the portal will also serve as a virtual environment that strives to support technical preparation, the exchange of experiences, access to suitable sources of information and the creation of business opportunities for all the participants in the production chain in the sector including: technicians and executives in public administration, professionals at software and services companies and participants in free software communities and entrepreneurs.
 
Municipal Governments
